Dr. Stephanie Holden is a Certified Health Education Specialist with an earned doctorate in Health Studies. She is a veteran educator and clinician with background in medical imaging, and graduate degree in mathematics/statistics. Her diverse experience also includes healthcare quality management, program evaluation and clinical consulting. Currently, Dr. Holden is the Chair of the School of Health Services Administration at University of Phoenix, Dallas campus. Her research interests lie in minority and population health, with focus on the determinants and elimination of health disparities, which include improvements in the access/utilization of health services among minority population groups and greater diversity in the allied health workforce. Dr. Holden develops programs and initiatives for minority student success, outreach in underserved areas promoting healthcare careers and health education presentations to community groups.
