Greer Christian is the Community Development Officer for Wells Fargo Government and Community Relations. As Vice President, she represents the company in business, community and economic development activities in North Texas. She operates as the link between the company and philanthropic communities, focusing on stakeholder engagement, public policy advocacy, reputation management and corporate social responsibility strategies.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Greer was Director of New Business Development for the Tom Joyner Foundation, with national responsibility for generating fundraising and revenue streams for the organization through cultivation of strategic partnership with corporations, universities and government entities. Prior to her work at the Tom Joyner Foundation, she led community relations efforts at Citibank and JPMorgan Chase. With over 20 years in the financial services industry, Greer has managed multi-million dollar sales and credit management, cash management and investor services teams.
Greer obtained her M.B.A. from the University of Dallas and a B.S. in Accounting from Grambling State University. She has received graduate certificates from Southern Methodist University in Master Negotiation, Marketing Management and most recently Financial Planning.
Active in the community, Greer has held several board and committee seats such as Texas Diversity Council, Dallas Black Dance Theater, United Negro College Fund and United Way of Tarrant County to name a few.
