Crystal L. Bessix is the strategy side of the dynamic team at edOpp Solutions LLC, an award-winning Houston-based learning and strategy company on the mission to change the way organizations operate, people work, and communities exist.
As president and co-founder, Mrs. Bessix leverages more than 15 years of experience in creating the bold ideas and smart strategies to achieve results for organizations. She is an award-winning branding strategist, sought-after guest lecturer for integrated marketing communications, and highly respected for her creative talent, leadership, and business expertise. Mrs. Bessix brings the best of both worlds – business and education. Her experience in higher education administration and dedication as an adjunct professor brings a well-rounded perspective to learning and strategy at work. Certified in online teaching and trained in adult learning theory and instructional design, Crystal can connect theory to practice resulting in transformational workplace learning experiences and online courses.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Talent Development (ATD) Houston Chapter as VP of Marketing and Communications. In addition, edOpp Solutions LLC is the American Marketing Association 2016 Marketer of the Year for Best in B2B Services, an ACT Authorized Career Solutions Provider, and shortlisted for the Top 10 2016 Digital Solutions Provider.

As an alumna of University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, Crystal received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from American InterContinental University-Houston. Crystal is also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. Currently, Mrs. Bessix is in her final year of the Doctorate of Philosophy in Leadership Studies program at Our Lady of the Lake University. When she is not studying, teaching, or leading her company, Crystal spends time with her family - husband Gary, dog Nikon, and daughter Baylee.
