Dr. Darron Turner serves as the Chief Inclusion Officer and Title IX Coordinator for Texas Christian University (TCU) where he is responsible for strategic directions, providing leadership and vision in all aspects of diversity, inclusion, and Title IX. In conjunction with Admission, Human Resources and the Provost’s Office, among others, he works to expand efforts to recruit a diverse student body, hire and develop strong role models and mentors for students of color, and ensure that curriculum and instruction mirror those efforts. Additionally, Turner focuses on policies and practice, as well as issues management.

Darron assumed his current duties after 22 years in the Division of Student Affairs where he was responsible for areas of Inclusiveness and Intercultural Services, International Student Services, Community Engagement, Veteran Services, and Assessment. His duties also included Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, and faculty hiring processes. He regularly presents on topics of diversity and inclusion. He has served as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Education and the College of Health and Human Sciences.

Dr. Turner holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from TCU, Masters of Human Relations and Business from Amberton, and Doctorate of Educational Leadership from TCU.
