Cleve J. Glenn is Vice President and General Counsel at McClinton Energy Group -- a domestic oilfield services company with operations throughout the U.S. As an Attorney and CPA, Cleve has over 12 years of combined experience in the accounting and legal professions. Before attending law school, Cleve was a financial auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Houston Office) where he serviced clients in the energy and financial services industries. After law school, Cleve practiced corporate law and commercial litigation at regional and national law firms. Most recently, Cleve practiced law at the international law firm of K&L Gates LLP (Houston Office) where Cleve was an active member of the firm’s Energy Practice Group.
At McClinton Energy Group, Cleve reports directly to the CEO and provides legal counsel to the company’s senior management team across all business functions. Cleve also works closely with the company’s CAO to create, implement and oversee working capital strategies designed to facilitate asset and revenue growth in spite of volatile commodity prices.
Cleve received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Lamar University in Beaumont Texas, and subsequently earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law where Cleve graduated with cum laude honors. Cleve currently resides in the greater Dallas area with his wife Adele and their son, Landon.
