Hul attended the University of Miami and has successfully achieved over 35 years in sales and sales management. He began his career in 1964 in the garment manufacturing industry in New York City. In 1967, he moved to Dallas, TX to join the Brilliant Sales, Inc sales team where he eventually became Vice President of Sales and a Managing Partner in the multi-million dollar company. In 1985 Hul’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to form a manufacturer representative firm specializing in ladies designer clothing. In 1998, during the downturn in the fashion industry and after 13 very successful years, Hul closed his company to join BTi Employee Screening Services. He began his tenure as a District Sales Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing within a year. While at BTi Hul lead his sales team to increase the volume from 2.1 million to 9.3 million and the eventual very profitable sale of BTi to Choicepoint, Inc.
In August, 2001, bringing his strategic/tactical planning and sales and marketing management expertise, Hul joined Nitty-Gritty Solutions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of their new Human Resources and Risk Management outsourcing division. December 2003; in an effort to broaden their exposure to Texas, Hul joined Employee Screening Services in Birmingham, AL as Director of Sales. Hul was quickly promoted to Sr. Vice President of Sales and has lead the company in a revenue growth of 30% each year for the past 10 years and staff increase of 12 sales associates Today ESS is one of the prominent background screening companies in the USA doing background and drug screening in all 50 states and 17countries with revenues over $35 million.
