Adam currently serves as a Director of Sales Operations for Cigna, and his background is as diverse as his current role. Adam graduated from PVAMU with a BS in Accounting, Cum Laude and Distinguished Military Honors. Commissioned as an officer and later promoted to Army Captain he was awarded the Bronze Star for leadership while fighting in Iraq. Following his service he worked as a financial planner and authored The Thousandaire Challenge, which offers simple steps to managing your personal finances, like a business. After completing an MBA, at UT Dallas, he entered the Healthcare Industry with hopes of leading a change towards improving health outcomes and reducing systemic costs. Adam recently founded the Rep My Vote mobile app and website, a non-biased communication platform where voters can easily identify and connect with all their elected officials and candidates to better inform their votes.
Adam’s mission in life is, “To Love, Lead, and Inspire others to live a good life through constant and never-ending improvement.” He is a member and a past chapter president of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and currently chairs the Voteless People is a Hopeless People Committee. He married Misty Rivon 15 years ago and has 1 child.
