Sheshieda Davis is an experienced global information technology and sales professional with a passion for solving problems. She is a native Houstonian and has spent the majority of her career in the energy arena in Houston and San Antonio, TX. Her work has taken her to over 11 countries in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. She has practical business experience and deep technical knowledge with a global perspective. Sheshieda is often sought after to complex problems and liaise with global stakeholders.
In her current position as VP of Sales with Aspect Enterprise Solutions, Sheshieda helps energy companies solve complex business problems related to commodity trading, risk management, logistics and back office functions. She is currently charged with business development in the Americas and leadership for the Houston office.
In her previous positions, including IT and business roles, Sheshieda has lead software product teams, managed large and small development projects and helped many companies gain value from their technology investments. Her experience and background have uniquely qualified her to work with energy companies throughout the globe. Her tenure has included work with Amoco, Dynegy, Landmark Graphics, Valero and SunGard.
Sheshieda is a member of the Women’s Energy Network, where she has volunteered in mentoring circles, charity lunch and partnerships and chapter expansion. In the past she was an active member of Woodlawn Elementary PTA in San Antonio, TX serving as President and running for School board to champion the rights of students for a well-rounded education including gifted-talented programs, art classes, student performances and recess for elementary school students. Recently, Sheshieda has joined the Texas Diversity Council and she actively mentors university students looking to enter the workforce.
Sheshieda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Management of Technology with a concentration in Project Management from University of Texas at San Antonio. Sheshieda is married and currently lives in Houston, TX.
