Julian Tovar of San Antonio, Texas serves as the Vice-Chairman for the Board of Directors at Equality Texas. Julian is a leader at one of the largest financial services companies in North America. His professional background includes being a consultant and advisor in the area of human resources/employee relations with a dedicated focus on diversity and inclusion programs. He has worked on numerous diversity outreach initiatives and has assisted other organizations and employers create framework for pro-LGBT resource groups. Through his employer, he serves on the PRIDE Team Member Network, a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender network for team members who want to build professional networks across the organization. Julian is also the Area Representative for the Human Rights Campaign representing San Antonio and its surrounding areas. In 2015, Julian was named "2015 Most Influential: 10 to Watch" by San Antonio's premiere LGBTQ magazine, Out In SA. In 2016, Julian was recently named one of the "16 Local Movers and Shakers That Should Be on Your Radar" by the San Antonio Current.
