Janet H. Moore brings 25+ years of professional experience throughout North and South America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. During the last decade she has worked as a global executive coach and business consultant—internationally and domestically—regarding leadership, business development, diversity and related marketing and business communication issues. Her clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to Tech Start-ups.
In addition, Janet teaches in the marketing and business communication fields at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business, where she has led MBA students on several international business study trips to India.
Prior to launching her consultancy, Janet spent a total of fifteen years practicing international business law at Baker Botts LLP, Enron, and a premier Mexico City-based firm.
Janet was graduated with honors from both Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and the University of Texas School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of the Texas International Law Journal. In addition, she attended the London School of Economics and studied in Austria, France and Italy. She is a professionally trained and certified executive coach who is credentialed by the International Coach Federation. She has contributed articles to a variety of publications, including the Wall Street Journal’s Asian edition.
Janet serves on Houston’s Mayoral International Trade and Development Committee (Asia), the Strategic Planning Committee and Board of the Houston Symphony, and the Executive Committee of the Houston Committee on Foreign Relations. She is proficient in Spanish with a reading knowledge of French and Italian.
